We are proud to announce that Matthew Lum is our 2017 Ernie Alexander Memorial Scholarship recipient. Matthew is a member of the BCIT Airline and Flight Operations Program with a passion for the aviation industry and community. Matthew set himself apart from other students with his high level of professionalism, work ethic and consistently superior results, both in written and flight test assessments. His instructors describe him as “…a keen individual who showed a willingness to take direction while also utilizing his education and inserting those skills where necessary.” We are pleased to honour such a deserving recipient, and we wish him the best in his future endeavours.
In memory of Ernie Alexander, QC, we are delighted to award a deserving student with a $2,000 scholarship in his name. This scholarship is presented to an aviation or aerospace student who demonstrates achievement in his or her community and excels academically.
