PRACTICE PROFILE

Anita Atwal is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation, Insurance, Intellectual Property & Technology and Labour & Employment Practices. Her practice is primarily litigation based with a focus on civil litigation. Anita obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University in 2000 and her LL.B. from the University of British Columbia in 2004.

Prior to her career in law, Anita helped grow her family-owned and operated company from a start-up business to the largest herb and specialty produce company of its kind in Canada and the second largest in North America.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

Anita has conducted trials in the British Columbia Supreme Court and the British Columbia Provincial Court. She has also appeared in the Supreme Court Chambers on a variety of matters. Anita has assisted senior counsel with appeals in the British Columbia Court of Appeal.
