Larry Gwozd is a member of the firm's Banking & Lending, Real Estate, Corporate/Commercial, and Insolvency & Restructuring Practices.  His business practice is primarily corporate commercial-based with an emphasis on business acquisitions by way of asset or share purchases, joint ventures, corporate reorganizations, partnerships and other general corporate and commercial matters.  Mr. Gwozd's Real Estate practice includes all matters relating to real estate acquisition, subdivision, development, leasing and financing, while his Lending and Insolvency practice includes acting for all types of financial institutions and private lenders in mortgage and other loan security over real estate and personal property, and in enforcing such security in foreclosure, receivership or bankruptcy proceedings.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

• General Counsel to major seniors care home and housing development;
• Provides corporate financing and leasing advice to major insurance company;
• Represents chartered banks with respect to structuring and preparing security for commercial and real estate development loans;
• Acts as counsel for residential commercial and private hospital developers;
• Counsel for numerous institutional lenders, including chartered banks, trust companies, life insurance companies and pension funds with respect to loan realization through foreclosure, receivership and bankruptcy proceedings.
• Provides insolvency and restructuring advice to national and international debtors and creditors.
