
Mr. Ragona is a Partner in the firm and is a member of the Insurance Law Practice. He obtained his law degree from the University of British Columbia in 1965.
Mr. Ragona has been practicing insurance defence litigation since 1967.
Mr. Ragona is a member of the Law Society of both British Columbia and Yukon Territories, the Medical Legal Society of B.C., the Canadian Bar Association Subsections in both Civil Litigation and Insurance Law; the Trial Lawyers Association of B.C., the Trial Lawyers of America; and the Association of Insurance Defence Counsel. He is a member of the Vancouver Art Gallery Association; Member, Director, and former President of the Canadian Italian Business and Professional Assocation of B.C.; Member and former Director of the Endeavor Society; and a Life Member of the Vancouver Aquarium Society. He is a life member of the Children's Hospital Society and a former member of the Advisory Council of the Canadian Cancer Society's "Diamond Ball".
Mr. Ragona has been a guest lecturer on civil procedure and rules of evidence at the B.C. Law Society's Continuing Legal Education Seminars. He recently authored "Using your 'Skull': Thin Skull vs. Crumbling Skull" for Continuing Legal Education. He has also lectured on the issue of errors and omissions at the Insurance Agents and Brokers Convention, as well as practice and procedure for claims examiners of the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia.
