Ray recently joined the firm as Associate Counsel and has been practicing law since 1973. He has a wide range of experience in complex corporate and commercial matters in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario, including representing a number of private hydroelectric power producers in British Columbia and acting on major construction contracts and project development agreements. He is counsel to a number of significant private companies in British Columbia, assisting on their day to day requirements as well as acquisitions and dispositions, financings, shareholders agreements, joint venture agreements, corporate reorganizations and business planning.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE
Outside the practice of law, Ray is an active member of Vancouver’s cultural scene. He was one of the originating board members of the Reel-to-Reel Children’s Film Festival; an originating member and Co-chair of Chutzpah, The Lisa Nemetz Festival of Jewish Performing Arts; Director of the Vancouver Fringe Festival; and founder of “Wizards”, a group of scientists, mathematicians and others exploring current topics in science, medicine and education.
