PRACTICE PROFILE
Sharon Urquhart is a member of the firm's Insolvency & Restructuring, Commercial Lending, and Environmental Law Practice. Although she has considerable experience in commercial lending her practice is focused primarily on insolvency & restructuring, and environmental law.
REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE
- Represented financial institutions, private lenders and borrowers in all types of lending transactions;
- Provided advice to institutional and private lenders and borrowers regarding enforcement proceedings, such as foreclosure, receivership, bankruptcy and other restructuring proceedings;
- Provided advice to all types of creditors and other affected parties concerning insolvency proceedings generally, including bankruptcy proposals and Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act proceedings;
- Provided advice to clients, including lenders, on all types of environmental issues, including on their rights, duties and obligations under the Environmental Management Act.
