Nikki Thauli brings a broad depth of experience in the provision of paralegal support and specializes in insurance litigation defence work. She has significant experience in all aspects of the litigation process including drafting pleadings, preparing chambers applications, gathering and summarizing medical evidence, preparing quantum assessments, summarizing discovery evidence, interviewing witnesses, considering and making recommendations with respect to appropriate experts required and instructing experts/investigators. She has extensive experience in handling major loss files with ICBC’s Head Office Claims.
Nikki received her Second Class LL.B. Honours degree from the University of Wales Institute of Science and Technology in 1985. She successfully completed the Solicitors’ Final Exams at the College of Law in July 1986. Nikki then completed 13 months of a two-year articling program as a Trainee Solicitor in Wales, before immigrating to Canada in 1988. Nikki completed the Executive Legal Administrative Assistant course at Compucollege School of Business in 1989 and a legal research course from Capilano College in 1990. Nikki has been employed with Alexander Holburn in the capacity of a paralegal since March 1993.
