Justin Abrioux is an Associate in the firm’s Insurance Practice Group. His practice is litigation based with a focus on insurance defence.

Justin deals with a variety of claims including personal injury, professional negligence, products’ liability, breach of contract, occupiers’ liability, strata disputes and insurance coverage. Justin works with his clients to drive disputes towards a practical and realistic resolution together with an eagerness to contest any unreasonable expectations of other parties in court.

Justin was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2018. He both summered and completed his articles with the firm.

Justin received his J.D. from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University. Prior to law school, he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of British Columbia.

On A Personal Note...

Prior to law school, Justin used to race longboards on the World Cup circuit. Now in his spare time, Justin enjoys his hobbies of photography, digital arts, becoming an amateur chef through trial and error and exploring beautiful British Columbia on his motorcycle.

Representative Experience

Justin has handled lawsuits in all levels of court in British Columbia including the Provincial and Supreme Courts, the Civil Resolution Tribunal and the Court of Appeal.

He has conducted trial in the Provincial and Supreme Court both before a jury and judge alone. He also regularly appears on behalf of clients in chambers and judicial settlement conferences.
