Alexa joined Alexander Holburn as a summer articled student in 2019, before returning to the firm in 2020 as an articled student after completing her J.D. from the University of Victoria.
Prior to joining the firm, she spent a summer working for the Ministry of Attorney General and another working at a homeless shelter on the Downtown Eastside.
She is interested in all areas of litigation, with a particular interest in local government work and professional liability.
During her time at law school, she was involved in numerous student clubs and volunteer activities, including taking on projects with Pro Bono Students Canada, serving as the president of the Criminal Law Club, and serving on the planning committee the annual Indigenous Perspectives Camp. Alexa also worked as a research assistant to help update the textbook Global Corruption: Law, Theory and Practice.
