Chris Chu is an Associate in the firm’s Construction + Engineering Group.

His litigation practice involves representing clients in contractual disputes, construction litigation, professional negligence claims, and builders liens and environmental matters. Chris has advocacy experience in the Supreme Court of British Columbia, Provincial Court of British Columbia, and the British Columbia Civil Resolution Tribunal.

Chris has worked with clients such as owners, developers, trades, and consultants in a wide range of disputes and projects. These include design and installation deficiency claims, debt collection and payment disputes, construction delay claims, and large multi-party litigation and mediations requiring extensive document management and review.

Chris joined Alexander Holburn as a summer and articled student. He previously worked at the New York Legal Assistance Group and the Queen’s University Legal Aid Clinic, where he advised and represented clients on insurance, residential tenancy, and human rights matters.

On A Personal Note...

In his free time, Chris enjoys exploring Vancouver’s ski runs, hiking paths and cycling routes. He frequently travels and hopes to improve his cooking skills one day.
