Alan Ross is a member of the firm’s Motor Vehicle and Insurance Practices. His practice is primarily litigation based with an emphasis on the defence of personal injury, life and disability claims. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in catastrophic injury cases. He also represents clients in complex commercial litigation. Mr. Ross has significant experience in administrative law, having been elected as a Bencher of the Law Society of British Columbia for the 2010–2012 term. He was a member of and wrote decisions for Discipline Panels, Review Panels and Disciplinary Chambers matters. He has extensive experience in conducting trials and mediations on behalf of insurers. Mr. Ross also provides advice in all areas of life and disability insurance including claims defence, re-insurance, regulatory matters, subrogation and policy wording.
