2013 Admitted to the British Columbia Bar

Janet Kwong is an Associate and a member of the firm’s Insurance Practice Group.

Her practice is primarily litigation based with a focus on matters involving personal injury, occupier’s liability, and professional errors and omissions.

Janet is a graduate of Robson Hall at the University of Manitoba, where she was an Editor for the Manitoba Law Journal and the inaugural issue of the Canadian Journal of Human Rights. She also attended the University of Edinburgh and the Rothberg International School at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

On A Personal Note...

In her spare time, Janet enjoys sports, traveling to new places, art and design.

Representative Experience

Janet has appeared as counsel before the British Columbia Provincial Court, Supreme Court, and Court of Appeal, as well as provincial and federal administrative tribunals.  She has experience representing clients on personal injury claims, workplace disability claims, professional liability claims, legal recovery remedies, and foreclosure and insolvency matters.  Her goal is to effectively resolve litigation, whether that be using alternative dispute resolution mechanisms such as mediation, or through tribunal hearings, summary trial, and trial.
