Johann Annisette is an associate in Alexander Holburn’s Toronto office and is a member of the firm’s insurance and business disputes groups.
Johann has experience in dealing with complex matters across a diverse group of industries and has represented a broad range of institutional and individual clients. Johann is a quick, strategic thinker who crafts creative solutions to achieve the best, most cost-efficient solutions for his clients. He also takes pride in his ability to apply sound legal principles in a persuasive manner, both through writing and oral argument.
Johann’s practice focuses primarily on commercial and civil litigation, including but not limited to, insurance defence, transportation and freight claims, health law, business disputes, professional liability, product liability, employment law, construction litigation, personal injury, subrogation, and coverage disputes.
Within transportation law, Johann has represented brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and aviation companies in complex contractual disputes, and has advised them on various aspects of supply chain logistics and the movement of goods locally and internationally.
Johann has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and various regulatory bodies, including the Canadian Transportation Agency, and consistently achieved favourable results for his clients.
