Marcos Cervantes is a member of the firm’s Insurance, Business Disputes and Maritime Practices.

Marcos has appeared in first instance and appellate court levels at Ontario and Québec provincial courts as well as at the Federal Court of Canada. He also has extensive experience appearing in transportation regulatory tribunals and handling complex cross-border litigation and product liability claims.

In addition to supporting the transportation and insurance practice groups, Marcos advises clients on customs and import-export matters. He has experience working in the Customs & International Trade department of one of the Big 4 accounting firms.

Marcos has also built a client base of Asian and Hispanic businesses, based in Toronto and abroad, to whom he provides general commercial legal advice.

On A Personal Note...

When not in the office, Marcos enjoys adding controls to his flight simulator, servicing his car, and listening to aviation and military podcasts.

He is fluent in French and Spanish and has basic conversational skills in Mandarin.
