Nicholas’ practice is primarily litigation-based, with a focus in the areas of Health Law and Local Government Law.

He represents Health Authorities, hospitals and nurses in medical negligence claims. In his Local Government Practice, he represents municipalities on a wide range of legal issues.

Nicholas’ practice also includes representing clients on a wide variety of insurance defence claims, including occupier’s liability, product liability, and construction disputes. Nicholas regularly appears before the Supreme Court of British Columbia. Nicholas has also appeared before administrative tribunals, including the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal.

In addition to his practice, Nicholas frequently contributes to the firm’s Insurance Law Blog.

On A Personal Note...

Outside of the office, Nicholas enjoys spending time on the golf course, reading, and exploring the outdoors

Representative Experience

Nicholas has appeared on behalf of clients in matters before the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia. Nicholas also has experience in prosecuting regulatory offences before administrative tribunals and representing clients in matters related to the BC Human Rights Tribunal.
