He also worked as a research assistant, served as an assistant editor for the UBC Law Review, and was involved with the student group Law Students for Decriminalization and Harm Reduction. Prior to attending law school, Nick received a B.A. in Psychology from UBC.

As a student at UBC Law, Nick was recognized for his academic achievements with the Blakes Scholar Award in Law and the Superior Courts Judges’ Scholarship. He was also awarded the Adam Albright Memorial Award in Law for his engagement with student activities, including captaining the law school curling team.

Nick is interested in all areas of litigation with a particular interest in privacy and administrative law.

On A Personal Note...

Nick spends much of his time outside of work writing and playing music. His band has a live karaoke side project that plays 90s pop-punk tunes. Nick also plays and coaches softball and curling, though most of his physical activity during the pandemic has involved long walks with his partner and their dog, Seamus.
