Paul joined Alexander Holburn as a summer student in 2019 and will return for articles in 2021 after completing a clerkship with the BC Court of Appeal.

Paul is interested in all areas of litigation and is enthusiastic about exploring complex issues of law. As a law student, he was a member of UBC’s Gale Cup Moot team, served as the External Relations Director for the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, and worked as a research assistant for several professors. He also served as a peer tutor and as an assistant editor for the UBC Law Review.

Prior to law school, Paul studied classical and medieval history at the University of British Columbia. He continues to pursue a keen interest in legal history.

On A Personal Note...

Paul is an avid fan of international cinema and film studies. He is currently working his way through every Godzilla movie ever released. He is also famed inside and outside the office for his passion for karaoke, to the detriment of his coworkers, friends, and family.
