  • Admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 2022

Paul joined Alexander Holburn as a summer student in 2019 and returned for articles in 2021 after completing a clerkship with the BC Court of Appeal.

Paul received his JD from the University of British Columbia in 2020, where he graduated as the gold medallist and as a Wesbrook Scholar. As a law student, he was a member of UBC’s Gale Cup Moot team, served as a member of the executive of the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, and worked as a research assistant for several professors. He was also a peer tutor and an assistant editor for the UBC Law Review.

Prior to law school, Paul studied classical and medieval history at the University of British Columbia. He continues to pursue a keen interest in legal history.

On A Personal Note...

Paul is a fan of international cinema and film studies. He is currently working his way through every Godzilla movie ever released. He is also famed for his passion for karaoke, to the detriment of his coworkers, friends, and family.
