Scott Ashbourne summered and completed articles with Alexander Holburn. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Mount Royal University in 2013 and his J.D. from Thompson Rivers University in 2019.
Scott was called to the bar in June 2020 and is an Associate in the firm’s Aviation and General Insurance Practice Groups. His practice is primarily litigation based and he has appeared before or assisted in trials at the British Columbia Provincial Court, Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal.
Prior to attending law school, Scott worked as a Correctional Service Worker in a young offender’s institution in Alberta, where he was responsible for promoting the rehabilitation and reintegration of young persons who have committed offences.
