Serena joined Alexander Holburn as a summer articling student in May 2022.
During her J.D. at Dalhousie University, Serena received a Schulich Scholarship for entrepreneurship and academic proficiency. Serena also founded the Access to Justice Society, which aims to improve access to justice within the community in collaboration with a technology company.
In summer 2021, Serena was a legal Research Assistant, focusing on beneficiary involvement in public pension funds. Following this, Serena completed a business law internship with the legal team at Irving Shipbuilding.
Before attending law school, Serena worked as an IT Strategy Consultant at Deloitte in Montréal, Canada. She worked with various Fortune 500 companies within North America and supported large-scale IT system implementations.
Serena obtained her Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University, with a major in Business Technology and a minor in Finance. She spent a semester abroad in San Sebastian, Spain, where she studied Spanish, psychology, and anthropology.
