On Sunday, August 12th, a team of cyclists at Alexander Holburn are cycling in the 11th Annual Glotman Simpson Cypress Challenge in support of the BC Cancer Foundation and pancreatic cancer research.
Since 2008, the Cypress Challenge has raised over $2.5 million towards finding solutions for the 800 British Columbians who are estimated to be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer this year. Seventy-five percent of these patients won’t survive the first year, and less than 10 percent will survive five years.
