Shyrose Aujla is an Associate and a member of our Health Law and Local Government Practice Groups.
During law school, Shyrose served as co-president of the Allard Law Women’s Caucus and UBC’s South Asian Law Students Association, earning the Auriol Gurner Young Memorial Award for her significant contributions to feminism.
As a student, she was actively involved in the International Justice and Human Rights Clinic, where she collaborated with non-profit organizations in developing countries to prepare applications for sanctions against corrupt officials under Canada’s Magnitsky Act. Shyrose also participated in the Julius Alexander Isaac Moot, focusing on legal issues related to equity and diversity.
Before joining Alexander Holburn, Shyrose articled at another full-service law firm, working with its litigation, labour and employment, and regulatory practice groups.
Shyrose holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) from the University of Calgary and a Master of Public Health from SFU. Her background in sciences and public health, combined with a passion for litigation, has led her to pursue a practice in our Health Law group.
