Ashley Dhanda will be joining Alexander Holburn as an articling student in July 2025, following the completion of the Professional Legal Training Course in May 2025.
Ashley attended Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. During law school, she volunteered with Justice for Girls, where she conducted legal research on topics such as equality rights and violence against young women. She also contributed to the organization’s submissions for the UN CEDAW review of Canada.
Ashley also served as an Assistant Editor for the UBC Law Review and as Program Coordinator for Pro Bono Students Canada.
Prior to law school, Ashley completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at UBC, graduating with high distinction. During her undergraduate studies, she volunteered with West Coast LEAF, and Scholars at Risk.
