Valeriia is an Associate and a member of the firm’s Insurance and Labour & Employment Practice Groups.
Valeriia is a litigator with a broad practice encompassing insurance litigation, commercial litigation, and labour and employment matters. She works closely with clients to understand their goals and develop effective strategies for resolving disputes.
During law school at the Peter A. Allard School of Law, Valeriia served as Operations Director for the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program (LSLAP), overseeing 14 legal clinics. She also contributed to human rights and sanctions research with the International Justice and Human Rights Clinic and drafted legal memoranda for the United Nations Human Rights Committee.
Prior to law school, Valeriia graduated with distinction from the University of British Columbia, majoring in Psychology and Political Science. During 2024/2025, she was a Level Justice Fellow, where she co-authored a report on pro bono opportunities and incentives for legal professionals in British Columbia.
