Celeste joined Alexander Holburn as a summer student in May 2025.
Celeste is a student at the Dalhousie University Schulich School of Law, where she has volunteered with the Dalhousie Wills Project as part of Pro Bono Dalhousie.
Celeste holds both a Bachelor and a Master of Social Work from the University of British Columbia, during which she worked as a project worker and research assistant at the Canadian Centre for Inclusion and Citizenship. Celeste is a registered social worker in BC and has experience working in both public interest and private practice settings prior to attending law school.
Celeste’s areas of interest include elder law, wills and estates, taxation, tort law, insurance law, trauma-informed legal practice, and the intersection of health and disability justice.
Celeste has been awarded the Nova Injury Tort Law Prize and the John L. Harris, Q.C. Memorial Scholarship. She also worked as a summer law student researcher at the BC Law Institute where she led the drafting of the Guide to Trauma-Informed Legal Writing and facilitated public legal information sessions to promote the Dementia and Decision-Making Project resources.
