On behalf of the Partners, Associates, and staff of Alexander Holburn, we wish to express our gratitude to John Goundrey for his dedication to the Real Estate, Corporate/Commercial and Health Practices. In January 2026, John retired from full-time practice.

On A Personal Note...

John is a keen traveler and cyclist. He is also a runner and Bikram yoga enthusiast. He has a cabin on Saturna Island (one of British Columbia’s Southern Gulf Islands) where kayaking, hiking and making crab cakes is, fortunately, all there is to do. He has a keen interest in architectural preservation in Vancouver and beyond.
