Justin Abrioux is a member of the firm’s Insurance Practice Group. His practice is litigation based with a focus on insurance defence. Justin defends a variety of claims including personal injury, occupier’s liability, professional negligence, historical sexual abuse, and insurance coverage. Justin works with his clients to drive disputes towards a practical and realistic resolution together with an eagerness to contest any unreasonable expectations of other parties in court.
Emma Ferguson is a member of the firm’s Wills, Estates + Trusts Practice Group. Emma has a broad wills, estates and trusts practice. She advises clients on all aspects of estate and incapacity planning, including wills, alter ego, joint partner and family trusts, powers of attorney and healthcare representation agreements. Emma has experience assisting clients with disabilities or their family members with planning to protect government disability benefits and advises clients on adult guardianship matters including applications to be appointed committee for an incapacitated family member. Emma also advises clients on the administration of estates, including applications for grants of probate and letters of administration. She is also experienced in marriage and cohabitation agreements.
Justin McGregor is a member of the firm’s Insurance Practice. Justin both summered and completed articles with Alexander Holburn and was called to the bar in June 2017. His practice is entirely litigation based, with a focus on insurance defence and coverage. Justin deals with a wide variety of insurance defence claims, including occupiers liability, professional negligence, construction defects, manufacturing defects, property damage and personal injury.
