Dessa Booth is an Associate and a member of our Insurance Practice Group.
Dessa’s practice focuses on litigation, with experience in professional liability, construction, product liability, property damage, and business disputes. She also handles matters involving occupiers’ liability, personal injury, defamation, and subrogated claims, representing clients in both British Columbia and Ontario at the provincial and superior court levels.
She has acted for a diverse range of institutional and individual clients across various industries, combining her legal expertise with a practical, down-to-earth approach to deliver clear and effective advice.
Called to the bar in Ontario and British Columbia in 2024, Dessa earned her J.D. from the University of Ottawa, where she served as a division leader and caseworker at the Community Legal Clinic, a resume and cover letter specialist at the Career and Professional Development Centre, and an editor for the Ottawa Law Review. She was also awarded the Greenspon Granger Hill Prize for her enthusiasm and exceptional contributions to the Community Legal Clinic.
