Shannon Tseng maintains a broad business law practice with a focus on corporate law, charities + non-profit law. Her experience includes working with our senior wills, estates, and trusts lawyers to prepare estate planning and trust documents, and advising businesses on corporate structure, governance, and reorganization. She also advises social enterprises and not-for-profit entities, including charities, on structuring to ensure they maintain good governance practices and align with regulatory requirements. Shannon particularly enjoys building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients in various industries and assisting these clients in the structuring and operation of their businesses or with their personal planning needs.
Shannon both summered and completed her articles with the firm prior to being called to the bar in August of 2018. While pursuing her J.D. at the University of British Columbia, she was the recipient of several academic awards including the Stikeman Elliott Prize in Real Estate Transactions and the Dale Robert Pedersen Prize in Criminal Law.
