On behalf of everyone at Alexander Holburn, warmest wishes for a Happy Holiday Season!

2021 Charitable Initiatives

At Alexander Holburn, we believe in creating a lasting, positive impact in our community. We do this through a diverse range of programs that were developed to align with the firm’s core values of balance, teamwork, and trust. Our breadth of programs encompass charitable and sustainability initiatives, as well as mentorship and networking opportunities.

Given the COVID-19 related restrictions this year, the firm carried out fewer out in-person volunteer activities as we traditionally would have. As a result, we redirected our resources and donated to charities that support local at-risk youth.

We are happy to have the opportunity to support the Girls Who LEAP Society and the KidSafe Project Society. We invite you to find out more about the organizations below and learn how you can get involved.

KidSafe Project Society

KidSafe Project Society is a Vancouver-based charity whose mission is to provide nurturing safe havens for vulnerable children during the times when schools are traditionally closed.

KidSafe serves hundreds of Vancouver’s most at-risk youth by providing a safe space, developmental care, and nutrition to children ages 5-13. What began as a small winter break program in 1993 at two schools has since grown into an organization that provides essential programs and services to over 450 Vancouver children and youth each year.

Today, the need for KidSafe remains as strong as ever. With 1 in 5 Vancouver children living in poverty, the unjust and common reality for tens of thousands of local children is that school breaks are times of instability, hunger, and loneliness.
