Larissa Doerr is an Associate and a member of the firm’s Insurance Practice Group.
Larissa’s litigation practice includes insurance defence and subrogation. Her unique experience provides her with a distinct perspective that produces effective solutions for her client’s issues and disputes. She has experience dealing with a wide variety of legal claims, including occupiers’ liability, professional liability, medical malpractice, municipal and public authority negligence and liability, property damage, and personal injury.
Larissa has represented clients before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Provincial Court of British Columbia.
During law school, Larissa volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, providing legal research and informational pamphlets. She also participated in the Environmental Law Moot and completed a judicial internship with the Supreme Court of Belize.
Prior to her legal career, Larissa had a career as an insurance agent selling and assisting in underwriting insurance policies for commercial and private clients. She specialized in commercial garage, marine and auto insurance policies.
