Mischa Longman is an articling student with the 2026/2027 articling cohort.

Mischa completed his J.D. at Queen’s University faculty of law, where he attained the Dean’s Honour List in his first year and acted as a student editor with the Canadian Journal of Commercial Arbitration in first and second year. He is particularly interested in the fields of labour and employment law.

Mischa also holds a Master’s in International Affairs from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs in Ottawa. Prior to law school, he worked at Global Affairs Canada for several years on numerous files, including serving as a senior threat analyst for Eastern Europe.

On A Personal Note...

During his free time Mischa is an amateur baker, with particular love for cookies and cakes. He also enjoys hiking in the mountains, largely to offset his former hobby.
