Melina Amirsharfi joined Alexander Holburn as a summer student in May 2026.
Melina joins us from the UBC Peter A. Allard School of Law. Prior to law school, she completed a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours at the UBC Sauder School of Business, specializing in Marketing and International Business, and spent a semester abroad at Korea University Business School in Seoul, South Korea.
Melina has a particular interest in real estate law, aviation law, and commercial litigation. She has worked as a law tutor and legal researcher with the UBC Sauder Real Estate Division, where she researched developments in real estate law and assisted in updating and creating course content for the Real Estate Trading Services licensure textbooks. She has also recently completed a Corporate Council Externship with the Vancouver Airport Authority at YVR.
Melina has served as a Clinic Head with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program (LSLAP), a student senator on the UBC Senate, and in various executive roles within the UBC student government. She is also the recipient of the Peter A. Allard School of Law Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Scholarship.
