Austin joins us from TRU Law. While pursuing his JD, Austin volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and recently competed in TRU’s internal Dean’s Cup moot competition, where he and his partner were crowned champions.
Austin earned a B.A. from the University of British Columbia, majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies. During his undergraduate degree, Austin was a member of the varsity track and field and cross-country teams, earning multiple Academic All-Canadian designations.
Prior to Law School, Austin worked at a local health authority where he headed public health initiatives for the Sea to Sky region.
Austin is primarily interested in class action litigation, health law, and a variety of insurance law matters.
