Michael is a member of the Insurance Practice Group.

His practice focuses on insurance defense including catastrophic personal injury, occupiers’ liability, professional negligence, cyber liability, commercial host liability, the Human Rights Code and construction law.

In addition to his insurance practice, he also has extensive experience in labour and employment matters. He has advised both employers and employees in matters relating to wrongful dismissal, human rights, workplace bullying and harassment, privacy, occupational health and safety and various other employment standards issues.

Michael is fluent is both English and French.

On A Personal Note...

Away from work, Michael leads an active lifestyle that includes hiking, canoeing, hockey, squash and snowboarding. A self-described “adventure traveller”, Michael has backpacked through more than 30+ countries around the world, mostly seeking out interesting places to undertake multi-day treks.
