Alexander Holburn Welcomes 5 New Partners

Alexander Holburn is pleased to announce the addition of five new lawyers to their Partnership, effective January 1, 2024.

In Vancouver, we welcomed two new partners:

• New Partner, Anil Aggarwal will continue to support his strata, residential property, personal immigration, and insurance clients with a focus on strata and residential property matters. Anil has represented clients at all levels of court and at several tribunals in B.C.
• New Partner, Michael Readshaw will continue to support clients through his insurance practice which has a focus on commercial host liability, professional liability, property damage, occupiers’ liability, and personal injury matters. Mike is called in both British Columbia and Alberta.

In Toronto, we welcomed three new partners:

• Ian Breneman is a new partner in our Business Disputes, Construction and Maritime groups. A seasoned litigator, Ian has extensive experience supporting clients in the energy, construction, and transportation industries. Ian is called in Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Alberta.
• Michael Furyk joins the Partnership as a commercial and civil litigator. Michael regularly represents provincial, national and international businesses in a wide variety of complex litigation and legal matters involving insurance, labour and employment, business disputes, and transportation & logistics. Michael supports clients across a broad range of industries and is called to the Bar in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia.
• New Partner, Jennifer Huneault will continue to support her clients in the insurance industry. With over 20 years in practice and a Canadian Risk Management designation, Jennifer is a trusted advocate to her clients on their most complex files. Jennifer also pens the quarterly Occupier’s Liability Update which offers insight into recent Ontario case law and has quickly become a trusted resource to subscribers.
