Alexander Holburn Welcomes New Associate Counsel Ian Breneman in Toronto Office

Alexander Holburn is delighted to welcome Ian Breneman as Associate Counsel in our growing Toronto office. Ian joins our Business Disputes and Maritime Practices from a leading Canadian business law firm.

A seasoned commercial litigator, Breneman’s practice focuses on dispute resolution in the transportation sector with an emphasis on maritime, pipeline, and heavy and light rail matters. He has acted as counsel in litigation and arbitrations involving cargo, casualty, construction, and contract claims relating to all modes of transportation.

Before joining Alexander Holburn, Breneman practiced at one of Canada’s leading business law firms, where he gained extensive experience in dispute resolution. Prior to that, Ian clerked at the Federal Court of Canada and practiced at a major regional firm in Atlantic Canada.
