Allison is a member of Alexander Holburn’s Business Disputes, Franchise, and Labour and Employment Practice Groups.

Her practice is primarily litigation-based. Allison has assisted clients in matters before all levels of court in British Columbia, as well as the BC Human Rights Tribunal, the Civil Resolution Tribunal. In addition to appearing in BC-based forums, Allison has represented clients in courts in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island.

Allison has experience assisting clients with:

  • partnership disputes;
  • corporate and shareholder disputes, including claims arising from the oppression remedy;
  • franchise disputes; and
  • employment disputes.

Allison joined Alexander Holburn as a summer student in May 2021 and returned for articles prior to joining the firm as an associate.

On A Personal Note...

Outside of work, Allison enjoys spin classes, discovering new restaurants, and negotiating with the toughest personality in her household – her dog, Arugula. Her success rate in those negotiations remains under review.

Representative Experience

  • Bonnefoy v. Northern Health Authority o/a Wrinch Memorial Hospital, 2025 BCHRT 20 – dismissal of human rights complaint alleging discrimination in the context of employment. Tribunal made rare award of costs in client’s favour.
  • Vines v. Wilcock, 2025 BCCA 393 – dismissal of appeal.
  • Hachem v. Air Canada Airlines, 2025 ABKB 23 – dismissal of plaintiff’s claim, with costs awarded to client.
