Maggie joined Alexander Holburn as a summer student in May 2022 and has returned for her 2023/2024 articling year.

Maggie is currently attending Allard Law at UBC and has worked as a research assistant for Professor Nicole Barrett and Professor Wei Cui. She competed in the Laskin Moot where her team received second place factum and best video. She also volunteered for the Rise Women’s Legal Centre, Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, Legal Education Outreach, and UBC’s Legal Buddy Program. Maggie currently serves on the membership committee of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers and as the VP External of Allard’s Asia Pacific Law Club.

Prior to law school, she majored in neuroscience and physiology. She has also worked for the Pacific Parkinson’s Research Centre as a research assistant and has volunteered for Amnesty International, Vancouver Coastal Health, and BC Children’s Hospital. She has been a piano teacher for over 10 years and competed as a pageant finalist.

Maggie is interested in exploring all practice areas with a particular interest in class actions, construction, real estate, and general business matters.

On A Personal Note...

Maggie is an avid foodie and loves to eat anything that is spicy. When she is not at the office, she is exploring new restaurants and recipes. On the weekends, she can be found at driving ranges or local dance and yoga studios.
