After 23 years of dedication, vision and leadership to the development and growth of our Wills, Estates + Trusts Practice, Andrew MacKay is retiring from the practice of law effective December 31, 2016.

Andrew is a truly exceptional and respected lawyer who has provided counsel in a wide variety of estate court proceedings and trials involving wills, estates and trusts law and adult guardianship disputes. He has also advised generations of clients on estate planning and administration and charitable giving.

Throughout his thirty year legal career, Andrew has been active in law reform and legal education. He has chaired and contributed to committees, written papers and book chapters and has presented courses on adult guardianship, mental capacity, probate rules and estate administration for the British Columbia Law Institute, Canadian Bar Association BC Branch and the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia.
