PRACTICE PROFILE


Ingrid Tsui works with local and international businesses on a wide variety of their legal needs, including providing general corporate advice and assisting with their Canadian immigration needs. She also works with societies, not-for-profit corporations and charities, advising on governance and charity matters.

Ingrid works with individuals as an estate planner, preparing estate plans to suit an individual’s unique needs. She advises on wills, trusts, incapacity planning and other tools to minimize taxes on death and to effectively provide for beneficiaries. She also advises executors and administrators on probate and estate administration matters.

  • General corporate advice to corporations, societies, not-for-profit organizations and charities.
  • Applications for charitable status.

Estate Planning

  • General estate planning advice regarding wills, power of attorney instruments, representation agreements, trusts and corporate reorganizations.
  • Estate administration, including probate and other administration applications.
  • Incapacity planning and committee applications.

Immigration

  • Temporary resident applications, including work permits, study permits and visitor permits.
  • Permanent resident applications under programs such as the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Provincial Nominee Program and Family Sponsorship.

In her spare time, Ingrid enjoys taking part in Vancouver’s many outdoor activities and particularly enjoys watching and practicing ballet.
